Established by Lt-Col. John By in 1826, the ByWard Market is one of Canada’s oldest and largest public markets. It is open 363 days a year, closed only on Christmas and New Year’s Day.
It features both farm products and artisan goods, as well as over 600 independent businesses in the general business area.
PARKDALE MARKET

Established in July of 1924. Every year, from the months of April to October, Parkdale Market vendors offer fresh produce, flowers, plants and shrubs to area residents seven days a week.
The late-season period from November 21st until December 24th features Christmas trees and decorative wreaths.
