Mi Cocina Foods is an authentic, Mexican cuisine company, owned and run by Arisbe Castellanos. As a one woman team, she strives to make the best salsa and chips around. She desires to share her Mexican heritage through her food and educate customers on how to use salsa as not only a dip for chips but also as condiments and sauces.

Arisbe’s story starts when she and her family moved from Mexico to Canada in 2008. She initially took cooking classes, then began catering her authentic Mexican food. 5 years ago, for a more flexible schedule to be able and to spend more time with her children, she began making and selling her chips and salsa. 3 years ago she completely rebranded to the labels and logo she has today. As a food chemist, she has always worked with local farmers in order to obtain fresh and in season ingredients. Tomatillos, a unique Mexican staple in cuisine, is one of her specialty ingredients.
Recently, she has moved her oppression from Cornwall to Coburg yet her products can still be found in many local businesses such as Essential Kitchen and Rurban Brewing in Cornwall, Glengarry Market in Alexandria, Broken Kettle in Vankleek Hill, The Finch Market in Finch, her own online store, and more.
