Founded in 1894 (130 years of history) by a group of Franco-Ontarian dairy farmers, St-Albert Cheese Factory is one of the oldest cooperatives in Canada. Five generations of cheese-makers have succeeded one another in developing the unique recipe that makes its cheeses irresistibly among the best in the country. St-Albert cheeses are made with pure milk from farms in Eastern Ontario. Discover how St-Albert cheese is made and packaged by strolling down the visitors’ corridor, which offers a breathtaking view of the production area.
