Founded in 2014, Totem Roasters is a certified artisan roaster based in the beautiful town of Vankleek Hill, ON. We are one of the very few micro-roasters in Canada that is triple certified (Certified Organic®, Certified Fairtrade® and Certified Smithsonian Bird Friendly®) and also a partner of the Cafe Femenino® program.
We meticulously roast sustainably-grown “certified” shade grown specialty coffees that not only have unique flavour characteristics but also benefit our planet and its living things. Aiming for perfect development that amplifies each coffee’s essence and delightful intricacies, embracing the full spectrum of each bean’s natural flavour and highlighting its exceptional taste.
Totem recognizes the pivotal role of specialty coffee and the dedication of those who produce it. To drive change, we source from farms that yield exceptional coffee quality, prioritizing sustainability and the environment, all the while ensuring fair wages for farmers and workers that give back to their communities.
