January 2020, Angie decided that she wanted to share her passion for tea and give back to the community at the same time. After taste testing numerous teas, she came up with two unique blends using organic tea leaves from India, Sri Lanka and China, and herbs and spices sourced from Canada. Ninja Panther Earl Grey and, Cher’s Chai Masala have become well-known within Eastern Ontario and Southern Quebec and continue to be Angie’s best sellers.
In her Lancaster, Ontario certified kitchen, Angie uses her two decades of bartending experience to mix and blend and taste a variety of tea creations, but not forgetting the true orthodox tea leaves, appreciating every sip. “I loved bartending, but to me, creating and tasting teas is much more relaxing and healthier!”
The name Cup of Kindness Tea Company means two things: Be kind to yourself while relaxing and enjoying tea; and be kind to animals as a portion of every tea sale is donated to Roy and Cher’s Rescue Farm, a registered charity that assists animals rescued from abuse, neglect and abandonment.
Angie’s tea can also be found in some restaurants and café’s such as Tom’s Pantry, The Glengarry Market, Rob Mcintosh, Sheehan’s Pub and more!
