Ingredients:
2-3 ripe pears
2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Optional: pinch of sea salt
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 200°F (95°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Using a sharp knife or a mandoline slicer, thinly slice the pears crosswise into uniform slices, about 1/8 inch thick. Remove any seeds and tough stems.
Whisk 2 tbsp maple syrup with 1 tsp cinnamon.
Brush pear slices with maple mixture and sprinkle with salt (optional).
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the pear slices for 2-3 hours, or until they are dried and crispy, flipping them halfway through the baking time.
Keep an eye on the pear chips towards the end of the baking time to prevent them from burning. The exact baking time may vary depending on the thickness of the slices and your oven.
Let cool completely before enjoying
