Yesterday, on September 14th, we had an amazing 5 to 7 event at Springfield Farms Organics! Eleanor McGrath, the owner, was very generous with the event and even hired a chef, Margaret McCormick, to prepare some delicious pizzas and apple crumble with homemade ice cream and salted caramel sauce using the Springfield Farms potatoes and others as well as Jamink Farm’s chicken.
As I am sure you can all imagine, this was all delicious!
We enjoyed some wine, beers and non-alcoholic cider while having some meaningful and lively conversation.
Our team went home with some potatoes and sunflowers that we were able to purchase at the end of the event.
Thank you again to Springfield Farms for hosting and for all the effort that went into the event on their part. We know guests went home full of satisfaction and delicious food!
To anyone who did not participate in the event, we highly recommend you do, as each 5 to 7 is its own unique experience. And who knows, you might even get to go home with some new knowledge, products or connections!
